“The Stag Head strikes me as a place where the community matters as much as the comfort. It has adapted creatively, and while some menu items may need a second look from the kitchen, the commitment to service and local spirit shines through. The outdoor beer garden, born of necessity, sounds like a genuinely welcoming space.”

The Stag Head Hotel is often praised for its superb location in Queensferry, right on the main street and near the Firth of Forth, with some rooms offering wonderful views of the bridge and sea. Guests appreciate the spacious rooms, some of which have large bathtubs, and find the hotel a great value, especially compared to Edinburgh prices. My room had a view of The Forth Bridge. The bus stop to Princes Street was very close to the hotel. It was less than a minute walk. The airport bus was also only 10 minutes away by foot.
The shower head did show a little mold.

Really good STAY AT A GREAT HOTEL

friendly staffairport busgreat locationloud music
I FOUND the staff very friendly and helpful. the bus from princes street stops very close to the hotel. It is less than a minute walk. also, the airport bus is only 10 minutes walk away. i would stay again because the location is fine. It is easy enough to get to princes street or the airport by bus.
the music was very loud until midnight. i barely slept because i had to be up at 3am for a taxi to the airport. i had hoped for an early night before a very early start.
